Our spring trips are right around the corner, so be sure to check out our permission slips under "Forms" at the top of the page. The 6th Grade trip to Kings Dominion is May 12th. The 7th grade trip to Kings Dominion is May 19th. The 8th Grade trip to Busch Gardens is June 9th.

Mr. Christopher P. HoovlerMr. Hoovler is the band director at Freedom Middle School. He has his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from James Madison University and his Master's Degree in Music from Virginia Commonwealth University. He has been teaching band in the public schools since 1997. Mr. Hoovler is a member of VMEA, VBODA, and Phi Beta Mu. Mr. Hoovler has earned Virginia Honor Band status as a former high school director, ten VMEA Blue Ribbon awards, and has earned numerous superior ratings in his career. Archives
